Some days your life just goes into orbit round the planet Zanusi and don't seem to want to want to sling shot back to Gods Clean Earth. The wife has recently had some "troubles" A few weeks ago she had a terrible back thing, struck overnight, two weeks off, lots of terrible sobbing and screaming laying on the floor. Emergency doctors, heavy drugs and more sobbing, weeks of Osteopathy etc etc..any way she in this office that's so bitchy its unbelievable. And she committed a cardinal sin, she left a weeks worth of paper on her desk, intending to file them the next day. So the other woman (who wife recently collected for a wedding present for) took the opportunity to moan and complain about her to the "Big Scary Boss" henceforth known as ArseBoss. Who is the managing director. Ever since ArseBoss has been on her back, taking away access to email then accusing her of not acting immediately on his email etc. Both the Chemical Brothers have indipendantly said that ArseBoss is a very bad judge of character and they are right. The wife works very hard for them for no wages and no appreciation.

Anyway yesterday she came home with an envelope..and sad pissed off face. She had a "disciplinary meeting" this afternoon. With ArseBoss and her immediate boss (who has a very high opinion of her, quiet rightly) Well, she and I expected a carpeting... But what she got was, bearing in mind she's worked there for 12 years, doing clerical stuff, was an offer to leave. With 3 months pay in lou of notice and 3 months extra. (one assumes as a sweetener not to take them to an industrial tribunal for unfair dismissal, they said as she was the "bread winner of the family" condicending twat)

Well this is very odd, she been bullied and shouted at, accused of not doing her impossible to do job and now given money to go. She has assurances of positive references too! Arseboss is really stupid. Wife is relaved as she was looking for another job to escape anyway. She has to get a job of 30 hours or more to qualify for family tax credit and therefore to get paid exactly the same as now. And no one shouting at her..... I don't know what to think about all this, its weird.

Even more bizarrely ArseBoss said you can either go now, or work next week and proove you can do the job....even more strange the wife WANTS TO WORK NEXT WEEK! she says to "sort things out"... My reaction is just FUCK EM and the only reason to go back is to place one of my super magnets on the side of their server to really screw them up. But she more responsible than I.

She phoned the Chemical Brothers in turn, first Chemical Ali, who's a real gossip and was dyeing to know what had happened, he was really upset, more than us. Kept saying hwo awful it was for them to do this. How bad ArseBoss was at judging people Doctor Glue was really pissed off, and he's very mild mannered and they are lucky to have a very well respected chemist like him, he said after Christmas he would be contacting the agency that has found him jobs in the past and screaming "get me out of here"...


So there we are, stunned....wife gets run up to xmas off. Looks for any easy job after. I cant imagine how the office is going to survive.... i mean impossible job and new person to do it? fuck em..i hope it all goes belly up i really do.

I suggested she take the money and go to an industrial tribunal anyway, mostly just to shit them up..
