Wife's been on the blower to the DSS, appointment tomorrow. Funny how to them payment in lou of notice counts as being employed, but to the family tax people counts as being unemployed (so not eligible for the "crap employers" subsidy) I said maybe we should just say she's working her notice period, as the SS aren't going to give us any money anyway. Looks like the SS will require a statement about circumstances of leaving anyway... which will piss ArseBoss right off as they will ask him too i'm sure.
